This global challenge is supported by Schneider Electric’s Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program and Access to Energy program, and encourages you to develop innovation business models focused on clean and affordable renewable energy solutions for local communities.
What’s the Challenge Theme?
Renewable Energy for Live & Livelihood – with the focused on 2 key areas:
- Solar Power Agriculture: Create solutions for solar-powered pre/post harvesting, storage, and processing OR
- Solar Powered Microbusinesses: Innovate for retail, services, refrigeration, manufacturing, and production.

💰 Prizes: Winning teams will share a prize pool of €10,000 (1st place: €6,000 | 2nd place: €2,500 | 3rd place: €1,500). Each winning team member will receive a Solar Family Home Kit and mentoring sessions from Schneider Electric’s Access to Energy Experts.
How to get involved?
This competition open to all years and you can register here. A follow-up email will provide to you with further instructions on forming teams (2-4 members per team) and submitting your project proposals.
